LONDON - 20th February
On Monday I had my interview for London College of Fashion and my god was I a nervous wreck. After settling down for the night in South East London, the nerves were unbearable. The following day and after several Kalm pills and 3 tubes later I finally arrived at my interview and I had never been so intimidated in my whole life! So many people their who definitely had much more experience in fashion than me, so I was just dead grateful to be there. After being told that we had already beaten over 700 hundred applicants, my general mood turned from nerves into gratitude, after all, I has only decided to pursue fashion journalism in the last couple of months! Anyway, it turns out me and many others didn't get in :( but I am not at all disheartened as I was just really pleased to get the chance to be there! And I also met the lovely Evie who made my day a whole lot nicer. She's a brilliant writer who lives and breathes fashion (blog: fashion-bones.blogspot). I am also 100% sure that I want to move to London as well, despite the sadness of leaving my friends and family, I feel now is my time. Overall it was an amazing experience and I enjoyed all of it!

I still think it's a major achievement getting an interview and you are so right to be proud. The move to London will be a great life experience for you and family and friends are never that far away!
