Basketball

I have a funny feeling that Basketball shirts are  going to come back in very soon. Even if it's just the teams name on a tee, or the full blown thing. I may invest!

Tie Dye

With summer fast approaching the need to branch out into the world of colour from my little dark clothes hole is becoming a much bigger fashion worry. Luckily, like many others, I have found the joys of Tie Dye. Last year when it started getting very popular to DIY tie dye your clothes, I wasn't too convinced. It looked great on my beautiful friends but I just wasn't comfortable in a psychedelic mish mash of colour. However, recently I have started to dip my toe in the Tie Dye pool (Was that a pun? If it was pardon it). You can see my first buy in my recent post, an awesome t-shirt by my friend Jenny. To get me in the summer mood I decided to have a hunt round and see what variety's of tie dye there was out there. I found full blown hippy brights to softer grungy tones, so it turns out their is a huge 'tie dye' scale and a style to suit everyone! Here are a few pics of slightly toned down versions of the style which I think offer a bit more of leeway for us who shy away from brights!

 

Acid Wash Love Affair

 

                    

I love Acid Wash denim - particularly in summer. I'm definitely one of those girls who feels much much more comfortable in jeans than in a girly summer dress, but I don't want to look like some sort of sun hater in dark denim. This is why acid wash is my summer saviour! I have jeans, shorts and a jacket and I love that I am able to wear them out in the sun without looking like a complete idiot who didn't check the forecast! The lightness of the denim gives it that spring/summer feel, while the acid wash keeps it more edgy that 'mum's old jeans'. Acid wash will always have a special place in my fashion heart and I will be wearing A LOT over these next coming months. Expect to see lots of pictures.

Camouflage Love

 

AHHHH, it's back! Can you remember the days when people wore matching Army cargo pants and jackets? mmmmm - not so lush. These photos however show that camouflage can be done very well indeed! I absolutely love the styling and will be investing in one as soon as possible. Move over leopard, there's a new print in town.

Galaxy Crush

 

I'm crushing on galaxy, as you can probably see!

Lusting after...

All I wear are my Levi 501's, Chanel tee, Leopard Print Bralet and White Doc Martens. Definitely need the Chanel boots and Milkyway tee. A girl can only dream!

Americano

 

I'm off to America in a month so I thought an American theme would be appropriate.

Neon Brights

 

At first I wasn't so sure about the whole 'Neon Brights' thing, but now I am loving it. When it's done well, it's the perfect outfit! I particularly love the neon yellow and pink. One piece of clothing or an accessory (such as bag or shoes) in a neon colour is enough to brighten up any outfit.

Grunge Denim

 

I'm currently having a clear out of my wardrobe and forgot just how much denim I own, acid wash, studded, ripped, leopard print. You name it, I have it on my denim.
