Draw In Light

After coming across Draw In Light on www.youngbritishdesigners.co.uk I have fallen head over heels in love with not only their clothing but everything they are about. The designers behind Draw In Light are Harriet Barford and Polly Wilkinson who have known each other for 25 years. The two extremely talented young women , who are based in London, design and make easy-wear, hand-printed garments. Each piece is  unique and hand-made in the UK, making it feel extra special. After getting noticed at Liberty’s Best of British Design Open Day initiative, they have enjoyed a slow-but-steady climb to the top, which recently culminated in a beautiful life drawing presentation at London Fashion Week.

“As with all our collections, there is always a natural element, a scientific element, a spiritual element and the process of silkscreen printing” – Harry & Polly
Their collections are effortlessly beautiful, combining simple shapes with gorgeous textures and patterns. I am absolutely certain there will be a lot more coming from Draw In Light – this is only the start.
